We’ve always made it a tradition to celebrate Black Friday by doing something outdoors. This Thanksgiving we took a break from the turkey, stuffing and holiday madness by spending a few days around Lookout Mountain in Tennessee. For our Black Friday adventure, we opted to hike the short but strenuous Waterfalls Trail in Cloudland Canyon State Park, GA. This 2-mile down and back trail lead us down to the bottom of Cloudland Canyon, where we were treated to the beautiful sites of both Cherokee and Hemlock Falls.
Trail details, as well as other hiking options in Cloudland Canyon State Park can be found in the map below, or by visiting the State Park’s excellent website.
